Live Well With Diabetes
This is a three session series of two-hour classes available in Marin County and the city of Sonoma that addresses a variety of topics including, blood glucose monitoring, diet changes, meal planning, carbohydrate counting, exercise, diabetes complications and medications. Members who complete this series tell us that they have better understanding of their illness.

Cholesterol Management
This is a single, two-hour class held once a month. Cholesterol Management will help you understand and help manage your risk factors for heart disease. Taking this class will improve your knowledge of blood lipids and dietary fats and the importance of physical and dietary lifestyle changes, how to read food labels, control portion size and understand the food pyramid.

Change for Good Support Group
Change for Good gives you an opportunity to talk about your feelings and get support related to living with a chronic medical condition without fear of being judged. The group is ongoing, once monthly for 90 minutes. This is an open group of no more 10 members and it is a personal and safe for you to share feelings and get support under the guidance of a Licensed Psychotherapist.

Individual Medical Nutrition Counseling
Two appointments with a Registered Dietitian may be available for any diabetic patient who has not achieved a HbA1c of 7.0%
